Round the Island Race Crew Raise Over £6,500 for The Ella Dawson Foundation

Our team joined forces with Rona Sailing Project for the Round the Island Race, completing the course in style while raising incredible funds for young adults living with cancer.
What a fantastic weekend at the Round the Island Race, in partnership with the Rona Sailing Project! Recognised as one of the UK's top four biggest sporting events, the race saw our team take on the iconic 50-nautical-mile course around the Isle of Wight, sailing aboard Rona II — one of the largest boats in the fleet — alongside a qualified crew.
Our amazing team completed the race with a corrected time of 11 hours, 16 minutes and 23 seconds — an incredible achievement for everyone on board.
A huge thank you to the Rona Sailing Project, all the volunteers, and the incredible crew who have already raised over £6,500 (including Gift Aid) to support the work of The Ella Dawson Foundation — with even more matched funding donations still to come. This brilliant total has already gone well beyond expectations, helping us continue supporting young adults living with cancer and their families.
Thank you so much to everyone involved in making this challenge such a success. Roll on 2027! 💛⛵✨
