Our Trustee Board Grows

​We are thrilled to announce that Adam Waugh has been appointed as a Trustee of the Ella Dawson Foundation.

 Adam is not only an extraordinary sailor,  completing a solo circumnavigation of the globe in the inaugural Mini Globe Race, aboard Little Wren, the 19ft boat he built by hand in his garden shed,  he also brings 20 years of senior finance leadership, with extensive experience as CEO of a large publicly quoted company. Additionally Adam brings significant experience of acting as chair in the charity sector.  Adam’s professional expertise and personal determination make him an exceptional addition to our board. 

Over the past 2 years Adam has been an incredible ambassador for the charity, raising significant awareness >span class="NormalTextRun SCXW85184911 BCX8">roughin the inaugural Mini Globe Race,  press, media and socials as well as raising over £70,000 to date for the charity to help us reach more young adults through and beyond cancer.
