Paul Davies MP Hosts Parliamentary Reception on Loneliness and Social Isolation

Hosted by Paul Davies MP, the Parliamentary reception brought together community organisations and charities to discuss the impact of loneliness and social isolation across the UK.

We had the honour of attending a Parliamentary reception on loneliness and social isolation, kindly hosted by our local MP, Paul Davies. The event provided a valuable opportunity to hear from a range of organisations and individuals working to address this pressing issue in communities nationwide.

It was a privilege to represent the Ella Dawson Foundation and speak about the specific ways loneliness affects young adults diagnosed with cancer — particularly during treatment and in the period of adjustment afterwards.

We are grateful to Paul for the invitation and for his continued leadership in raising awareness of this topic both locally and in Parliament.

The evening also included a tour of the historic Houses of Parliament and time to connect with other attendees, all committed to making a difference in the lives of those experiencing isolation.
