Ella Dawson Foundation Contributes to National Discussions at the Cancer52 Conference

The Ella Dawson Foundation attended the Big Cancer52 Conference in London, joining national charities and stakeholders to discuss the Rare Cancers Bill and National Cancer Plan.

Last week, the Ella Dawson Foundation took part in the Big Cancer52 Conference in London, an event that brought together organisations, professionals, and advocates working to improve outcomes for people diagnosed with rare and less common cancers.

Attending alongside Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer, we contributed to discussions focused on the evolving cancer policy landscape, including the Rare Cancers Bill, the development of a National Cancer Plan, and the role of patient voice in shaping services.

The conference offered an important platform to reflect on shared challenges and explore opportunities to better represent and support teenagers and young adults within national strategies. The day was marked by thoughtful dialogue and a clear commitment across the sector to driving meaningful, patient-centred change.

We are grateful to Cancer52 for convening such a valuable event and for facilitating the collaboration of organisations working across the spectrum of rare and less common cancers.
